2011 CALS Map Competition

Redniss & Mead Wins Map Competition

Lorne Posson, PLS, Principal of Redniss & Mead and Survey Department Manager, recently won Best in Competition at the Connecticut Association of Land Surveyors (CALS) 2011 Map Design Competition.  He also placed first in the category Limited Property/Boundary Surveys for the map titled Improvement Location Survey for Bernstein Residence.

Colleague and partner, Jorge Pereira, PLS placed first in the category Limited Property/Boundary Surveys – Subdivision or Resubdivision for the map titled Subdivision of Map of 487 North Street, Greenwich.  And in the Miscellaneous Surveys category, Cesar Polonia, PLS placed first for the map titled Right of Way Survey Chestnut Hill Road.

“By coming out on top in this competition, our team demonstrates Redniss & Mead’s continued commitment to quality”, Craig Flaherty, P.E. said of his colleagues.  “At R&M, quality is important not only in our larger accomplishments, but also in the everyday things we do.  When we deliver quality maps that an architect, contractor or municipal agency find easy to read and use, our project goes faster and more smoothly.  We are very proud of our survey department!”
