About Redniss & Mead
The firm was established in 1957 with the purchase of the Harold A. Parsons Company, a Connecticut Land Surveying firm founded in 1893 and a 1962 merger with the L. Bromfield, Jr. company to form Parsons, Bromfield & Redniss. Our vault preserves extensive land records dating back to the early days of the Parsons Company, and we proudly display an excellent collection of early surveying and engineering instruments. These treasures remind us that we are heirs to a deep tradition of treating the land wisely.

Still a family firm, we expanded over the years to become a leading land use consultant that produces innovative designs by combining traditional skills with creative planning and environmental sensitivity.
Our multi-disciplinary staff includes Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors, Planners and support staff, who average more than 20 years with the company. We deliver the personal service of a small firm, yet we offer the scale to handle complex development projects.
