Aubrey E. Mead, Jr. is Vice President of Redniss & Mead, Inc., a design and consulting firm specializing in land use, civil engineering, surveying, and site planning.

Since joining the firm in 1977, Mr. Mead has developed on a variety of civil engineering assignments involving marinas and other coastal projects, storm water management, roads, sewers, dams, culverts, pumping stations, water distribution and septic systems.  He has extensive experience in flood impact studies associated with various projects located in flood plains.

Mr. Mead has worked with and appeared before many community boards and agencies, such as Planning & Zoning and Inland Wetlands as well as state (Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Transportation) and federal agencies (Army Corps of Engineers), processing local, state and federal permits.

A representative listing of projects he has been involved with includes Merritt 7 Corporate Park (Norwalk), Oakridge Condominium & Retail Center (Lewisboro, NY), many area schools (Cos Cob School, Whitby School, Greenwich Academy, Old Greenwich School, North Street School, and New Lebanon School), marinas (Beacon Point Marina, Mianus River Boat and Yacht Club Marina), institutions (Greenwich Hospital, Cos Cob Library), many office buildings and residential projects in Stamford, CT, and various studies including water supply of Wooley Pond, flood impact of the Strickland Brook and land use to assist the Town of Greenwich in its acquisition of the Pomerance-Tuchman estate.

Mr. Mead is cognizant of the major concerns of a project, including design constraints, timely completion for challenging schedules, and budget issues, and concentrates on achieving a balance that works for the client.
