We are celebrating this week by sharing some information about civil engineering and about some of the CE’s who are part of the Redniss & Mead Team!
National Engineers Week was founded in 1951 to increase public awareness and appreciation of the engineering profession. It is always celebrated at the time of George Washington’s birthday in February. In addition to being the first president of the United States, George Washington was also a military engineer and a land surveyor.
If you look around, civil engineering is everywhere! Meet three civil engineers whose work is having a real impact on people’s lives. Whether involved in projects underground, on huge structures or meeting the water needs of developing communities, these engineers are making a difference. See if you have what it takes to be a civil engineer.
