Candidates should have 0-2 years experience in site development design including storm and sanitary sewers, grading, utilities, roads, drainage studies, erosion controls, subdivisions, etc. Working under the supervision of the Project Engineer and Project Manager, responsibilities of the Staff Engineer will include design plan production, ACAD drafting, drainage calculations, utility coordination, construction observation, septic soil testing, researching municipal files, assembling land use applications etc. in support of the project team. Responsibilities will also include interfacing with other design professionals, utility companies, etc.

All openings are full-time, salaried positions. Requirements for all positions include a BS-Civil Engineering from an accredited engineering school; experience with AutoCAD as well as other industry standard software (StormCAD, PondPack, SewerCAD, Land Development Desktop, etc.) and experience in site design, land development and land use permitting. EIT certification recommended. P.E. License a plus but not required.

Candidates should have 2-6 years of experience in civil / site design and land development including roads, drainage, utility infrastructure, septic systems, sewers, erosion controls, grading, etc. Under the supervision and direction of the Project Manager and Senior Engineer, the Project Engineer will be responsible for the execution of the technical design, project coordination amongst design team members and municipal officials, utility coordination, quality control during construction, etc.

The Project Engineer will work with and direct the Staff Engineer on the execution of the project design. Responsibilities will include project coordination with design team, attendance at project meetings, development of design plans, drainage reports and other technical documentation, significant interface with other design professionals, municipal land use officials, clients, contractors, etc.

    Raymond R. Mazzeo, AICP

    Mr. Mazzeo is Project Manager on most planning and zoning consulting projects. He is responsible for planning, project management, coordination between clients and design consultants, preparing submission packages, communication with municipal departments and staff, and coordinating outreach with neighborhood and stakeholder groups.

    Jorge P. Pereira, PLS, CFS

    Mr. Pereira is responsible for scheduling and coordinating all field work for the firm and works closely with the field crew members on most projects. He is responsible for client contact and coordination with other team members. He reviews surveying documents and maps to ensure accuracy and certifies them for less experienced and non-certified surveyors.     Andrew M. Kuzmich, P.E.

    Senior Engineer

    Andrew is an out-of-the-box thinking civil engineer who consistently comes up with creative solutions to technical problems. He has inclusive experience as project manager, design team coordinator and technical designer. He is involved in all phases of development from concept through approvals to completion of construction. He coordinates project teamsincluding architects, traffic engineers, utilities, municipal land-use officialsand environmental agencies at the local, state and federal levels. Beyond his technical know-how, Andrew mentors our junior engineers and trains new staff in CAD and other related technical material.

    Aubrey E. Mead, Jr.

    Aubrey E. Mead, Jr. is Treasurer of Redniss & Mead, Inc., a land use consulting firm specializing in land use, civil engineering, surveying, and site planning.

    Since joining the firm in 1977, Mr. Mead has developed on a variety of civil engineering assignments involving marinas and other coastal projects, storm water management, roads, sewers, dams, culverts, pumping stations, water distribution and septic systems. He has extensive experience in flood impact studies associated with various projects located in flood plains.

He has an integral role in the coordinaton of teams including architects, traffic engineers, utilities, municipal land-use officials and environmental agencies at the local, state and federal levels.     Cesar has over twenty years’ experience in the land surveying profession. He serves as a Project Manager on numerous site development projects including the preparation of boundary and topographic surveys and construction layouts. He reviews surveying documents and maps to ensure accuracy and certifies them for non-certified surveyors. He has worked on a variety of projects including single family homes, multi-unit condominium complexes and commercial buildings, all of which entail map and deed research at various Town and City Halls and State agencies.     Raymond L. Redniss, PLS

    Principal Surveyor

    Ray Redniss manages and oversees the quality control of all survey projects. His specific responsibilities include preparation of detailed legal descriptions and air rights; conveyance mapping; research and opinions on tidal and riparian rights; reconstruction of boundary lines both through record descriptions and the evidence of possession; and, representing the firm and the profession as an expert witness on survey, boundary, and land use. In his six decades of experience, Mr. Redniss has been involved in the surveying and planning of much of the major development of downtown Stamford, and oversaw the survey coordination and processing for the Harbor Point Development. Mr. Redniss has also been involved with numerous development projects throughout the Fairfield and Westchester County areas.

    Mr. Redniss is Principal Planner and previous President of Stamford-based design build firm Redniss & Mead, Inc.
