Brunswick School – King Street

Brunswick School’s presence in Greenwich is not defined by a single address. Over time the school expanded across several properties, shaping a network of campuses that together support the full arc of student life.

When Brunswick acquired property across King Street, the opportunity to expand programs was real. So was the problem. The new Tudor Campus and the established Edwards Campus would be separated by a busy roadway. The answer was not a crosswalk or a traffic signal. The campuses were connected underground. A pedestrian tunnel beneath King Street now allows students and faculty to move between the two sides throughout the school day, joining what might otherwise have remained two separate schools into one continuous experience.

That kind of solution requires precise grading coordination, roadway interface approvals, and careful alignment between two properties with different elevations and infrastructure systems. It also requires the kind of trust that builds over years of working on the same campus.
