Chris Voight Wins Best in Show and 1st Place in Map Competition

2018 CALS Map Competition winner Chris Voight

In a repeat performance, Redniss & Mead’s Project Surveyor, Chris Voight took home two ribbons last month from the Connecticut Association of Land Surveyors (CALS) Annual Meeting where many Connecticut land surveyors have a friendly competition showing off their best work. Chris was awarded:

  • Best in Show for “ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey Depicting Coleman Towers”
  • In Category 2 – Limited property/Boundary Surveys, he won 1st Place for “Easement Map Div. Riverside Loan, LLC 321-329 Riverside Ave. – ELUR”

In 2014, Chris also won ‘Best in Show’ for Hamilton Development, LLC and second place for the YMCA Mahackemo Site.

The 2018 ‘Best in Show’ map will be entered into a national competition with the National Society of Professional Surveyors (https://www.nsps.us.com/) which will take place during the beginning of 2019.
